Vintage Lure Appraisal?
Just today I was sorting through some relatively old tackle boxes given to me by my cousin. So far I've stumbled across a Heddon River Runt Spook Sinker (Jointed), which seems to be in pretty good condition. I'm not sure what the make of the lure is, nor the number.

I was just curious if anyone had an idea of what these would be worth to a collector, if anything at all? I would post a picture along with it, but I don't have my camera with me at the moment.

I will try to get a photo up if it will help at all.

Some vintage lures are worth a small fortune. In 1988 the Haskell minnow sold for $16000.00!

Heddon lures are very collectable. What is the size and color of the lure? Sometimes the color of the lure can double the price. Are there any chips in the paint?

Re: Vintage Lure Appraisal?
I have a couple of lures still trying to get the info on, they are the original of the lucky
strike evil eyes. they are made a little better and have a patent # stamped on the back .
The company was out of Rochester N.Y. should of said lucky strike made a copy of these lures
maybe after the original company closed down or something???

Could you post a picture? If you can I might be able to help you. Also, what is the patent number?

I will get a picture up as soon as I can. For the meantime, the coloring is dark red on the front and a somewhat iridescent white on the end.

Re: Vintage Lure Appraisal?
It is worth between $8 -$12. If you have the box you would be looking at $30 - $35. If it was un fished $25 or $50 with box. Very cool lure to start a collection.

Unfortunately I don't have the box. I'm not sure if it's been used but it looks to be in the exact same condition as the one shown in the pictures of my previous post.

Re: Vintage Lure Appraisal?
These Red Eye Wigglers are missing the hooks. There should be a double hook on the front and a treble on the rear. In this condition I would estimate between $4 -$6 a piece. Cool lures though that do work well.
