Tournament Idea
How about scheduling a crappie tournament for next week (4/7-4/13)? I have the opportunity to fish public waters that week and would like to compete in a crappie tourney if possible. With the warmer temperatures ice should be coming off a lot of lakes and brining some quality spring time crappie fishing. Buy in could be $20/day $45/week and payout top 3 places.

Re: Tournament Idea
Why are there no tourneys scheduled right now? I'd be interested in a crappie tourney too. But that will be way too soon for me. All our lakes in NY still have a ton of ice, but with bad shore ice so I can't get to them yet!

Sounds like you just answered your own question. A couple lakes just opened up here this week some are still locked up with rotten ice.

I feel for you guys up North. Fishing "Season" never closes here... I would go stir crazy.
