Pond Jumpers
I wonder how many people fish out of private ponds, etc.and try to upload fish in the tourneys and get away with it?This is cheating in my book.....I ve already seen 1 angler do this, win money, and get their account terminated...............Cheating does NOTwork........

Re: Pond Jumpers
I know Texans are big into pond fishing/stocking, I lived there a while back and it was quite the craze. Then again, Texas stocked all it's lakes and reservoirs with fish too.

Not sure how Bounty treats the pond issue, but whether a pond is stocked for public or private use, it's all the same in my book.

I guess in the long run, you're always going to have cheaters when $$$ is involved. You can occasionally find some monster walleye and stripers in the fish store too.

At the end of the day, Bounty has some pretty sharp staff members, they'll eventually catch the cheaters if they keep cheating.

Re: Pond Jumpers
if you look back at old stories, this is just rehashing old news.
if you are honest you should fill good about yourself and not
worry about the cheaters, they always get what coming to them.
I was competeing in canadian sport fishing for a few years and saw a couple of
real cheaters, and they got away with it. but today you don't even hear their
names mentioned anywheres. I guess they are off in their cubby holes all alone
or with others the same as themselves.
again just my 2cents

Nice Carp freshwaterphi!Caught from your local Chinese food resturant Koi pond.......LOL just kidding............Nice Catch. It just burns me up when someone cheats......I agree that we should be able to fish anywhere but,I will follows BOUNTYS rules:"Absolutely no fish caught in fish hatchery waters, fish culture stations, "Fish & Pay" Lakes, private ponds or fishing preserves may be submitted. Furthermore, no fish captured using unconventional methods is eligible.Yes Texans do go crazy for stocked ponds, who wouldnt? If u could grow 10+lbs(19 Kilos? There u go CANADA.1 4 the metric system.Im metrically ignorant!lol.)in ur back yard in Canada,u would too.

Re: Re: Pond Jumpers
Chinese won't let them grow that big! I catch them in the St Lawrence River, home of my next Bounty record breaker...

Most fisheries up here are natural, we have some stocked trout places that charge a daily fishing fee. Looks like that rule would exclude half of Quebec's 400 outfitters. Then again, who cares when you have 200,000 lakes and rivers?

I'm not trying to gloat, I know the Texas lakes fishing situation. Ever try to fish Fork under the bridge? Talk about elbow to elbow...
I use to fish Texoma, only spot where I could consistently catch big fish from the shore.

Re: Pond Jumpers
Does that mean you can't fish a lake that is managed by the state. There a lot of big lakes and ponds here that are stocked with small trout and salmon, but bass are NEVER stocked anywhere in this sate other than private ponds which I obviously know is not allowed to fish for competition. I'm new to this site and want to be clear on the rules before competing.

Tight lines!!!

Re: Pond Jumpers
What if I was to catch a redfish out in the ocean that was possibly released by the fish and game's redfish rehab program lol ? How would I even know? One thing i want to start doing once I clear my boat situation up is start tagging my redfish i catch. And start a website or use one of those tag and website sites to see if others catch them and about how big they grow. I'm very curious and intrigued by the whole florida redfish populations and migrate paterns.

What comes around goes around. Karma will get them bastards. ;) Nobody can feel that great about winning with a bogus fish, unless you're a sociopath. I can understand those guys who honestly didn't think they did anything wrong. But COME ON! Honesty is the best policy. There is nothing more fun than not knowing what you're gonna get, whether you get something or not. I still have yet to get a big honest fish to put on here. :) My time will come and I will beat out all you pond fishers. (you know who you are) haha!! Shelbs -Great confrontation Gmoney!-
