Need help finding Tube Jigs!
Posted Mon Jul 7, 2008 5:52 am Need help finding Tube Jigs!
I am hoping someone can help me locate a specific product. A buddy of mine passed along to me some 2.5 inch tube jigs in flo. org., pink, salt-n-pepper and chartruse, and they have preformed amazing for me. They were also heavily loaded with salt, so needless to say, the few I had, have been torn to shreds. Anyone out there know of a company which carries these kinds of tubes? Most of the websites I found cater mostly to bass anlgers and don't have these types of bright colours.
Thanks

Not exactly the colors you want but it is close to the right size and the price is unbeatable if you buy 100 or more at a time. It is difficult to find tubes that size, I have looked because those 2" to 3" tubes are great for crappie and walleye. The 2 3/4" tubes that I get are great and seem to be the perfect size for what I am doing with them.

thanks trace - it is the bright pink ones I'm having a hard time finding - the ones I got were designed for steelhead anglers, but I've been all over the web and no love so far.
cheers,

Get white or pearl color tube and paint color them yourself. http://www.barlowstackle.com/ has Spike-It Worm Dye but it is not shown on the web site, only the catalog which I am looking at now. I use the Spike_It worm dye in red and blue but they also sell pink. The only one shown on the web site is the small bottle which does not come in pink but the large bottle that is not shown does. It is $3.29 a bottle and I use the garlic flavor. The color does not wash off your tubes or worms, once you color it, it is colored until it is rendered useless. It takes seconds for the dye to dry and the fish go nuts for the garlic flavor but it also comes in unscented. Order a catalog, it is free or call and ask for Spike-It Worm dye in the color pink.
Stock No. 102190 - unscented
Stock No. 102191 - garlic scented
This dye is fantastic and you will get the color that you want your tube to be. Just dip it and seconds later, it is ready to fish.
