Tried posting this in that thread but owuld not let me so let me try here so everyone knows I screwed up.
Foot In Mouth. I am sorry fishfry my bad. When I posted this thought you were a FL fisherman keeping a red like this. Then other's said you are an LA fisherman so I looked at the laws there but not the fine print stating you can harvest 1 over the slot. So please accept my appology for jumping the gun and trying to protect the fishies. Guess I'm on a fishy protection kick lately after finding 2 illegal gill nets in my redfish spot. Once again my bad and my screw up sorry Fishfry.

I feel your pain about the illegal harvesting of fish. I am mostly a catch and release angler althouth my family does enjoy a fresh fish fry from time to time. Fish need more people like you watching out for there best interests, sadly, too many fisherman are negligent when it comes to fisheries. Well said apology.

I had to release a 27 1/4 redfish Sunday.1/4 over slot for Fl..I'm over high school and follow all fishing rules.I'ts probably on it's way to LA. to be harvested.They have a huge redfish fishery in that area.Redfish that big just don't taste that good.I prefer the smaller one's.

All said All done its all good nobody should feel any diiference for anybody and now everyone knows how passionate and protective some of us are for our resources .they are valuable and precious can be destroyed in no time, take generations to be restored..So all in all conserve,protect,and enjoy Glad to see the passion ..and to the two directly involved in this whole thing 5 star to both of you for debating and understanding each other like grown adults..this could have got ugly with a few childish comments Gl to all and never be afraid to speak out for the protection of our so beloved fish because they cant..
