Lipless Crank Bait

Any tips on how to use one. I use them from time to time, but my results suck. My problem with using them is depth control.

Hey RTF! We've been slayin the Tiger Musky and a couple LM here and there with slow trolling the lipless cranks. Put a bullet sinker on first, I use 1/2oz. for the depth I need(adjust your weight to the depth you want). Then swivel and 3ft leader. Seems to work well!GL

Ma hit the head on the nail a slow troll or back troll works good but they usually have to be in a more agressive mode for them to work best but if your casting them try deeper rocky areas drop offs, shaols and points with them dont be afraid to get it a little banged or snagged and maybe change color...color is one important factor in most species...lastly use some spray scent or gel hope this helps
