For the catfish tournamnet, if we want to go night fishing, can we take a landmark photo on friday night and then take the second photo on saturday morning? For example if we were fishing from 10pm friday night until 2am saturday morning.

I have it all figured out. My Kitty hole is 20 min. from my house...all geared Friday with landmark photo and if I catch a biggy before midnight ZOOM home..... Take a pic of my house...submit fishy....wait for midnight to strike...get Saturday Bounty code...take another photo of my house....ZOOM back to hole and fish for bigger until I fall asleep...wake up..stagger home half asleep..take another photo of my house...submit the bigger one! Get coffee on! All is cool!

I guess the easiest thing would be to call someone to get it for you. I am yet to have a picture taken at night come out right yet. Red eyes everytinme. I dont know if that will effect things or not?

Ok, here is what I plan. I too fish at night. I have sent this very question in to where ever it goes, and got no response vie email. So, here is how I figure it is going to work.
Daily codes are good for 24 hours, 12 am to 11:59 pm. If I go out at 10 pm, on friday night, and fish all night and get back to my house at around 7 am, saturday, then I have fished 9 hours. Anything I happen to catch between 10 pm friday and midnight, will just go on saturdays catch. I will purchase the bounty code for saturday and have it with me. I will take all the pictures saturday morning, after daylight.
I have one landmark photo on my computer I took earlier in the week. The rules say take one before you fish, so this is it, got it out of the way, and I will take the other after I fish. Just a very different angle showing almost the same thing as the first.
Fishing time is just so rare, I don't want to wast it trying to place entries while it is prime fishing.
I don't see this as cheating, I can't be expected to submit a picture of a fish I catch at 11:45 pm., before midnight. I am miles from internet access and there is a whole night of fishing to go.

Here is what I would do .....Pay for the week ! This will give you one code .Fish what ever night you want , on lunch breaks or when ever !Post the biggest fish Sunday evening . Or during the week to see where it stands . Snap a landmark photo during your trip . Or just move to the south ! :) Good luck to all ! Bassindow

Guys dornblaser got it figured out...but some of you guys would get a DQ for rule 16 read carefully only daily codes for the south and central and you cant take a pic early that week ..rule 16 is a little complicated but us North guys have had the LM this way for always..so the south and some central will be new to this rule..read it many times and understand it and its purpose..GL and go fish..

There has got to be a better solution to the regional plan. I'm with ya on daily codes and getting to the computer before midnight when I'm out camping!PAIN IN BUMMY! Yet I think if I'm sittin on a Bounty.... I would surely ZOOM to a computer to submit even if it's an hour away...just a thought. Just have your daily code and landmark photo each day and go from there! Most people have cell phones and you know where you get reception...some mountains I fish are 13,000 ft and I can find pockets to phone a friend for info. to get those codes. I have used computers at gas stations too!Pain in BUMMY though ...BUT possible!

With the recent exclusivity agreement signed with Michael Martin (GPN) http://www.polytest.org/profile2003.htm for rule #17, the evolution of rule #16 will continue.
The “unofficial” planned rule change for designated regions is; same “Landmark” pictures with “Daily Codes”, however, you will be able to upload anytime before Sunday midnight.
Please continue to upload as per current rules until further notice.

let me see if i understand i take a picture of my house first then after i catch the big fish i stand in front of my house holding the fish right and thats the only land mark they need

No...you are totally perplexed...you take a landmark pic which could be your house but a intersection sign where too signs naming the roads are best ...then go fish take your regular fish with angler and then fish with ruler...and to make things easy take a pic of that same sign on the way home ...then enter the fish/angler and fish/ruler in your tourny and all within that day and daily code..then if you place then you are required to send those landmark pics so dont erase them you will get a email after the official results come in asking for the landmark pics ....hope this clarifies it if not read it again then goto the rules and read rule #16 many times not because of you but this rule is very complicated ..especially with fish on the mind..but I have had to leave fishing go back to the car drive up the road and take my pics after getting on the lake and slammin a fish..and relize let it go and go back ..So gl and fish on..

Nice ..this would uncomplicate things for I had wished many times to try a night fish..for a bounty maybe the crappie next thanks ..and those eyes I cant compete but try while I catch my share of small to med. ones some guys around hear just keep slammin giant eyes ...great pics too..love it..maybe one of these days I will slam a big eye on the right week..Gl everyone and fish on...

some people have a blackberry and can get the code. Although bounty side is not too user friendly on a blackberry.
