Hey BF fans, I am going to St-Pierre lake on Mai 20th. I wanted to know if any of you ever went there and could comment on what to use and where to hang around on that lake.
Thx all. Happy fishing season!

hey drinka, great place, spent much of my formative youth fishing there. May is a great time for giant northerns. Fish all the back bays and canals near pouvoirie lac st-pierre. look for clear water. try locating fish frst with spinnerbaits and then once you have a lock on their position use suspending crankbaits like rapala husky jerk, soft plastics like sluggos or finnesses, and spinners such as the mepps Agllia 5 in orange....there is also big walleyes in the channel.............one of the last places near Montreal where you can catch a thirty pound northern. good luck and keep us posted on your trip.

Rod, about an hour east of Montreal, near Berthierville. It is a widening of the St-Lawrence river as is Lac St-Louis. Waterfowl paradise!

I only tried it once during the winter, ice fishing sucked... Then again, it usually sucks every else around town if you're chasing big pike.
