lake erie walleye
i am a big walleye fisherman on lake erie and i use crawler harnesses and bottom bouncers, but i only seem to be catching the same 19-22 inch fish. the guy i go out with only drifts with harnesses so i was wondering if anyone knew of any technique that can be done by drifting and can bring in the 30+" wall hangers. or do i just keep using harnesses with bottom bouncers? help!

Hey RO...have you tried dyed green nightcrawlers? If you want a "big" walleye it is best to use a big bait. I would recommend a #5 - #7 Shad Rap in the shad color or a Countdown Rapala #9 - #11. You can also try live minnows just use the bigger ones.

If your to busy to fish, then your to dam busy!

I'm going on a charter Sunday out of Erie PA on Lake Erie for walleye. I'll let you know how we do and what the captain has us use.
