kingfish and saltwater species

love to see many salt water fish add as kingfish , dolphin and tuna . the other section many be more inland ocean fish such as reds, bone, tarpon , permits etc...
great idea hope it takes. i have many friend in florida who would love to see those species!

That would be great, but it wouldn't be fun trying to lay a 6 foot Tarpon or Tuna on the ground and keep him still to take a picture. I have a rough time with 18 inch bass :)

Fish that are too big or too dangerous to measure would be based on a point system and not lengh.

I would really like to see redfish and speckled trout categories. That would make me have about the same amount of categories to fish in as the north has.

I would like to see fresh water drum or sheephead added.... many people dont think of them as notable but they are very good fighters and size range is variable. And perhaps Gar Pike because I know the fly fishermen love to get them and they get them big!

If we add additional types and species of fish to the competitions then surely that would ease the pressure on existing species and hopefully reduce overfishing?
