Im moving Nov 2 for 10 weeks to the Rice Lake area of Ontario. Where should i fish and what for?

Rice lake has a few rivers/bridges that you can fish..

Not much of a winter season left for you this year, Rice closes on Nov 21st and reopens in the last week of April :(

BOOOOOOOO i dont like that area because of its short seasons, what about salmon and steelhead guys?

I think the salmon spawn is over by November, most of them are dead by then. Steelies are supposed to be good around Port Hope that time of the year, though I've never tried.

Yes Yes STEELHEAD i want those SOOO bad, something i have only done a few times in my life, and it was up in the Thunder Bay area, so do i drift roe bags or do i use a slinky rig? Oh and melis always remember FISHES BEFORE BITCHES. Mike i would LOVE to do the bay, i need to break my personal best walleye 31 inches.

You be NICE Mr. Man! Melis I'd kick his Royal tush if I were you!lol Steelhead are a Packin up about 5 hours from me right now! Slinky rig...my rosy red. Doctor death fly and a spinner or 2 on the side for them Bucks. Roe for them pretty gals! Bring Grandma's yarn though!;)lol

Quinte gets first ice around January, they get big wallys if you're still around the area by then.

Troll right up to first ice then, it starts to build...... last few years the bay has been a little sketchy so I wait till at least 6 inch consistency..... fell threw 2 years ago and dont plan on ever seeing my life flash before my eyes ever again due to careless stupidity! My wife just came up with a motto! Life before fishes! Reality check everytime I GO FISHING!

MA you should definitely come up for a weekend of ice fishing, it's so much fun. I kinda call it "ice drinking" myself. Only way to stay warm!!!
