kanzen braided line
i got a #30 spool of this braided line to test so i figure i'd let you guys know about it. It's really good braid, sensitive and very strong yet still very supple. I can't tell you about the durability of the line as i've only had it about a week, but i snagged the bottom and couldn't break this line even at the knot on some rocks. I'd say it's slightly stronger and more abrasion resistant than powerpro...but it's MUCH more expensive and i'm not really convinced it's THAT much better, but it is slightly better imo...time will tell i guess, i'll keep you updated.

Re: kanzen braided line
well I caught some nice fluke with it earlier in the year, it was nice and sensitive feeling them nibble. I also caught a 42" musky with it and no problems. I'm still not convinced it's SO much better than power pro to be worth $35-$40 more, but i do think it might be slightly better than powerpro. what will really sell me is if it STAYS better for longer. I usually use powerpro for about two seasons before i start to feel it should be replaced so we'll see.
