Well after getting my first musky 2 weeks ago I am heading out again tomorrow for something bigger than 24". What do you all like to troll with for musky. I was using a black spinner bait with 2 gold and orange willow leaf blades. Caught a nice 36" pike on it as well.

I'm no expert on Musky but I do know a lot of guys in my fishing club do well for the Tigers here on XR-10s.

large bright colour plugs, such as perch colours work well. have doine very well in the musky market using plugs sizes j13 and higher.

Well troll fast big raps,believers and contrasting colors..so they can see them...rattling bait with give you an edge too..and scent those baits and they will be on the more commiting side opposed to fallowers...get some cowbells or giant spinners tip hook with big plastic trailers.. another great mod is take the rear trebs off a big rap or body bait and attach a split ring with a big willowleaf spinner blade...and watch those fangs..gotta few cuts from them wild buggers this season...GL and slam a 50"er "only when you think big and big things can happen..."Fish on....

i have a gear problem maybe some one could help with a little ole man gave me a baot with trailer and 35 hrs motor he said hes had it sesne the 60's its just a fiberglass shell nothing in it i intend to turn it in to a custum fishing boat he had no pappers title or nothing the New mexico M V D says i had to bring them the title or regernumbers papper theres no kind of number or pappers , any body no a way around the red tape in order for me to get the baot redgisterd and trailer before i sink lots of money in it ..
