Crappie tournament

I was just going to sign up for the crappie tournament and noticed that 1st place is $250. I thought if we joined Crappie USA that 1st place was $750?

From my understanding crappie usa is paying the other 500$ seperately and 250$ comes from bounty . Good luck ! Bassindow

I know before it was advertised on here but now there isnt anything mentioned about it. Just didnt want to spend the extra money if it doesnt make a difference with the tournament.

Wondered the same myself..it would be tough for me to find a 15" to take first though....miracles always happen???!~!!...right??lol

Getting a crappie over 15 isnt likely, but it isnt impossible either. We boated one in july that was close to 17.

WoW guys i was thinking of the crappie tornament comming up but the biggist crappie ive ever seen in my area witch is 60 miles west of me 60miles north of me and one 100 miles north west . lakes that is .. the biggist has only been maybe 8 small inches . and the cold fronts thats been in and out of around here the dang ole crappie hunker down tight and want bit.

wish i was still up in north texas at proctor lake. i'm no crappie fisherman but i pulled alot of big crappie out of that lake. 15+ was nothin

I am already a Crappie USA member and fished in 5 tournaments this year including the Classic . Any one that loves crappie fishing and has a boat or has a friend with a boat should consider joining and fish a couple tournaments you might just like it as much as my patrtner and I do .

You guys would be toast if my gang were'nt in the mountains right now!lol They are playin with the 4 legged critters. I'm still tryin to sniff those rascals out couldn't find any over the weekend. Maybe that river will come down a bit!Good Luck everyone!

Wish I had the time to compete!I'm longing to take a trip up to my place on Conroe;Southeast Texas got hammered with rain here latley,My go to spots here,(Rice field canas,Bayous)are muddy beyond mud.Working on Galveson Island has its privlages though,The Reds,Flounder,and Trout are biting!Caught a 13.5 inch Mangrove Snapper in Chocolate Bayou sunday:)Good luck YALL.
