so it seems this site was down for 2 hours + last night and I couldn't enter my fish. What's up with that? I would not have won by far, but it would have been nice to submit anyway...

it was down for more than 2 hours, im not sure it was down as maybe so many people waiting till last minute to enter fish..

Nice tourney, love those whoppers, too bad I'm barred from competing in the only species that I have a real shot at placing. Congrats kingofcarp, that hawg must have topped 35 lbs...

CONGRATS TO ALL!! Great to see Sharyn our beauty with a beauty!..and look at her NO towel just bare hands! Hope you had wetty wipes for that stinky Sharyn!LOL I did break away from moving into my new home Sunday for a couple hours. Caught one a 20"er and a bunch of kitties AND ran into some Crappie! It was great to get out! Boy those Carp on the boards were unbelievable!!!Great Tourney!

It was a great event... I wish we could do it again in the Fall as originally discussed. Many of CAG's members were baking in temps over 100 degrees. We have CAG's annual meeting and one day tournament the last week of September. We have had over 100 participants in the past... if half of them signed up for the bounty competition too that would be a pretty nice synergy if you ask me...

Louis i too agree that having another one in late september would be awesome, i for sure would go for that. and i know for sure we could get a lot more CAG members to participate
great job bounty on this tournament i hope the next one is not so hot...

I really enjoyed the tournament as well, I hadn't heard about Bounty until the tournament was posted on the CAG Website. I love it! I'll probably at least fish the upcoming catfish tournament now that it's regional. Would love to see a Fall carp tourney, my wife and I would be in for sure. With a littlle more advance notice, i'm sure loads of Carp anglers would sign up.

While summer may be a decent time of year for carp fishing in Canada, its just about the worst time of year EVERYWHERE across the United States.
May or October would be the best months for most anglers in the States.
Being held in a different month and more advanced notice would ensure much greater participation from members of North America's only carp fishing organization - Carp Anglers Group.

June and September are the best months in Canada for numbers, but I've caught the biggest ones in April and October. As most other species are closed in April in this part of the country, it would be a great time to run a carp tourny provided the ice is gone.
I'm going to have to move to Ontario if I want to compete...
