Does free to participate open the tournament to Quebec residents?

Still waiting on the Bounty admins to let me know if an Ontario P.O. box is legal...
As for this tourney, I don't see how it would violate Quebec gaming laws as it's free entry. Then again, I'm no lawyer. Most of the species listed aren't likely record breakers during ice fishing season, with the exception of pike or perch, possibly walleye.

And the exception of lake trout and rainbow/steelhead.
I'm looking forward to a little ice fun in the land of the midnight sun.

Drew you guys down there don't catch fishies in Winter...... you got NO ice!!!LOL JK!!! My guess is Bounty will target by past tourney's during COLD season! Maybe there will be higher demand this year down South for your hot Winter species.
Smiles!

Re: BountyRecords are now open!
How do we southerners "bribe" the addmin's to add more touneys we can fish in? There's a variable smorgasboard of fishies here to fish for but no brownies, rainbows, chinook, salmon, muskie, pike, halibut, smallmouth, steelhead and a number of other fish found thoughout the country, but not here..so c'mon guys, give us a chance so we can fish every weekend, the boys are getting restless and we're running out of popcorn! Please add a few more salt species..Black drum,snapper,gafttops........

Re: BountyRecords are now open!
Hey ma. The winter has hit us hard so far, it went down to 68 the other day. You are right though the Florida strain bass do shut down when the cold front hits. The good thing for us is that it usually only lasts 3 or so days. Typically when I catch specks I throw them back, now with bounty records I will start measuring them. You know they are decent size when you pull them up on a DD22. Talk to you later ma. For now I am going out to get some sails, as the treasure coast is the sailfish capital of the world. not really my cup of tea but it is cool catching them on top. have a good one.

Re: Re: BountyRecords are now open!
My man mike nice to hear from you.

We do have more saltwater game fish obviously, tarpon, snook, reds, trout, sails, wahoo, dolphin, kings, sharks ect..but we miss the smallie bite, walls, fresh drums, so pound for pound i think you guys have much more freshwater game fish, not dont get me wrong this does not mean i am moving to a snowy climate anytime soon! keep it real mike, talk to you soon, any luck with the free gear?

try the berkley big game site, hank parker gives a ton of stuff out for big fish, registration is free. and also try lurenet (bomber, yum,ect..) the guys name is jeff samsel. he's been extremely generous over the past few years. i got to say berkley and lurenet have given me so many products due to my submissions, it will be worth the effort.
have a nice holiday. you should see my basspro shop wish list! talk to you soon. btw, my BFL tournament season starts the first week of feb i am real psyched about that.

Yawn.

Whatever happened to "Home of the World's Largest Fishing Derby"?

It's just another fishing chatroom now.

Maybe my tourney schedule button isn't working?
