BOUNTYFISHING INTEGRITY/VALUES
Posted Thu Oct 8, 2009 11:37 pm BOUNTYFISHING INTEGRITY/VALUES
I've been with Bounty for a couple years now..maybe it was the full moon this week but I feel there needs to be discussion on: What Bountyfishing is to us and how we treat our beloved members and admin!
There were 3 episodes that raised my eyebrow this week...
#1 Someone gave a bad vote for Jesse's pic on Dave's(DaleHollowTrollers) album...Jesse has leukemia and we all know what prognosis is for that! Dave took him out to catch BIG fish!..he did and now Jesse's back home with HUGE needles in his spine to keep him alive! I would surely hope that person who voted bad...hit the wrong button by accident! Please be nice Bounty Members!
#2 Uploading X or R-rated sexual pics. We have Little Eyes here on Bounty... and the photo I saw last night was inappropriate for a site I hang out on. What worries me is NO ONE said nothing and when I PMed Richard this afternoon there was over 70 views on it(Richard immediately deleted it)! Geez I have pics up for a year that don't have that many hits on them!
Hate to be a party poop cause I grinned at the pic..BUT not appropriate for Bounty and I'm glad Sean(my 10yr old) didn't see it!
#3 Jumpin the gun! I think that episode turned out okay...BUT I really believe we as Bounty Members should step back and realize that we're all in different waters AND levels of fishing expertice... Fishing and laws vary across the board.
Sometimes Private Messages are the best on gripes...
Anyone with me on this?
WE ARE BOUNTY AND WE ARE PROUD!

I missed that pic...too bad...lol..but seriously sometimes I wonder what people are thinking or if they even think at all..but Ma has said it and said it well..everyone who reads this should take note..and respect peoples feelings for you get what you put into the world..respect others and nature and nature and others will respect you back..but that jumping the gun we all know what we are talkin about and I think still that big fish regardless of regs..should be released..as all trophy fish so others can get that great pic, feelings and most of all make more.even if they are males it is not good. The Dna of a big male will help the strain grow faster, bigger and has survival insincts that got them that size which in turn is all past on..how would are species look if all human males where only 5 ft tall....lots to think about all the time in many aspects of this sport and this makes the sport and site exciting, funny, passionate and resourcefull so evryone be empathetic to all including the fish and everyone go visit Jesse;s pic and vote a 5 and shame on someone if it was on purpose ...and that full moon ahahwooooooo!!!.fish on
fish on...

Yes Ma absolutely right ! I didn't see the pic that you are talking about but..... We don't need that on here ! I also have my daughters on here and they for sure don't need to see whatever it was. I also seen the DALEHOLLOW and JESSE pics . I for one thought it was great . And I left the bounty site and visited JESSESSITE.COM .Ma and I both having issues with one of our kids hearts have a pretty good idea about the pain as a parent in that situation. I for one think Dave is a great person and that he did a wonderful thing. As for the third issue a private message is always better . We have probally all pissed someone off at least one time since we have been on here. So it is always better to ask rather than jump to conclusions . Bounty all the way !!!!!Thanks everyone for being in on this awesome community ! Bassindow

I also missed the pics but I really didn't miss anything.
I am all the way with Ma, up to now this forum has been
pretty clean and it has to stay that way, a little joke now
and then is find but not any more than that, I mention once before how
another site had some bad stuff put in and the site has never been the
same since, like me I hope people like to come on this site for the entertainment
that has to do with fishing and friendly words from all on the site, take the Quebecer's on the site, we can't even enter fish but there are a number of us here and from what I see we all seem to enjoy what goes on here. so before I get carried away have a good day and good job Ma for bringing the topic up.
just my two cents

What are you guys talking about…that pic was great! J K ;)
The reason the picture went unnoticed is that there was no nudity and you had to take a good look to see what was going on. Over 25,000 pictures currently on Bounty. This type of thing is virtually nonexistent.
BF belongs to the members so this type of feedback/discussion is important for setting and maintaining standards.
With respect to #1 “Jesse's pic on Dave's(DaleHollowTrollers) album”. I would invoke #3 “Jumpin the gun!”… and give the benefit of the doubt to the member that voted. I’m sure no disrespect was intended.
Bounty is definitely one of the cleanest and safest sites around. Members can feel confident when their children surf Bounty that all is up to standard, because Admin aside, Ma is in the house!
