Booyah Spinner Baits
Had 2 booyah spinner baits break off this week while fighting fish. Both broke in the same exact spot just below the bend where the line gets tied too, leaving the hook and skirt in the fishes mouth. That really sucks as I just bought these baits last month.

Re: Booyah Spinner Baits
I would write Booyah and let them know what happened, I'm almost positive they would replace them due to manufacture defect. Good luck.

Re: Booyah Spinner Baits
I have had that happen on several occasions. Were the both new or had they been used quite a bit? Over time, the blade vibration will weaken the wire causing it to break. If they were new, then I say JUNK. I used a couple of their chatterbaits and lost big fish on both because the wire that is molded in the head to attach the split ring seperated. I won't buy another Booyah....ever.

Re: Booyah Spinner Baits
These spinnerbaits were used hard in the last week with dozens of catches for both smallmouth and largemouth . I caught about 20lbs of largemouth bass this morning on another booyah and I dont think it's going to last much longer. I love the booyah chatter baits and have caught a ton of fish on them, but like stated above, mine too has come apart several times.

Try the chatterbaits by Gambler. They are extremely tough and the have a brush guard so you can fish them in heavy cover.

Re: Booyah Spinner Baits
I like booyah and have never had problems with their spinner baits but I guess I should pay attention to them. Never heard of that problem... sounds like brittle wire or a bubble in the lead maybe it was over heated during manufacturing but I couldn't say.

Save me a seat!

Re: Booyah Spinner Baits
try the original chatter baits they are awesome with no problems !I have caught tons of Florida largemouths on them. Including on there pan fish series .We also take the pan fish series head and put a fluke for a body. And the saltwater fish love them as so do the freshwater.I use terminator spinnerbaits and also strikekings' KVD spinners.Well good luck!Bassindow
