Best Reel Cleaner.
In your opinion what is the best thing to clean your fishing reels with? I heard that WD40 isn't very good and would like to find out what to use. Best oil and grease you use also?

Hot Sauce Grease
"This ultra-low viscosity grease allows extremely free rotation of the crankhandle and a fast-free spool. Special additives cause the grease to molecularly bond with the base metal for superior corrosion protection and a lubrication bond that remains permanently".

G96 Brand Gun Treatment
"This is the single and best gun care maintenance product ever designed to solve a gun owner's cleaning, lubricating and corrosion protection problems. A unique formulation of active lubricants will not freeze, oxidize or evaporate, this gun treatment is assured perfect firing from 50 F below zero to 350 F".

Re: Best Reel Cleaner.
Gotta agree with Richard on this. WD40 as well as other aerosol lubricants are basically water based and can actually promote rust in certain metals. Another thing to avoid however is over lubrication as well. Too much can also hamper performance of reel. (At least this is what the guys at Daiwa reel service tell me!)
