Where do they get the $$$ for those kind of payouts? Apprently, the tourny paid out over 2 million in prizes.

300 boats entered. The entry fees are reasonable I'm sure but then they have side money. It would be no problem to get 10,000 bucks per boat in entries fees and side pots. Those tourney's PAY BIG BUCKS!!! Could easily have been $5000 to enter and $5000 in side pot money also called a calcutta I think.
