Over the years guiding and fishing tournaments in the northeast and especially on the tidal rivers of the Chesapeake bay, if you booked a trip with me or drew me as a co-angler in a tourney you definitely saw me with my half ounce Terminator spinnerbait in many a different blade combos and colors locked and loaded on the front deck of my Nitro.

In fact most, including myself, would say that was my bait of choice and a highly succesfull one at that.
However over the past few years I've had to make room for a new weapon in my arsenal.

In fact this bait has become my go to search bait in shallow murky or stained water especially on river systems.
This bait is the Chatterbait. I prefer the Z-man but they all catch the fire out of bass. Over the past 3 years I've caught bass to 9lbs on a chatterbait and so many 1 to 6 lbers I couldn't even make an honest guess at how many. This bait produces some of the most violent strikes you'll ever see. So give it a try you may just find yourself a new favorite bait. I have tips and videos at my site for this bait.

My last two placings have been with a chatter bait. It seems like these were all the rage about 5 years ago, then everyone lulled themselves back to traditional spinner baits. If you sense fish fatigue w/ the spinner, go to chatter and you WILL be surprised!

Very Cool. You should stop by my main site and post some stuff like this in the forums. The members would love it. Tight lines, Steve

The chatter bait originated by Ron A. Davis R.A.D. Lures is an awesome bait it works on all species! I had the pleasure to meet Ron and to wrap boats for his sponsored anglers. It has since been sold to Zman. When you get a strike on a chatterbait there is no mistaken !If you have never tried one go buy one and you will be surprised how well they work. They are easy to use . Just crank it and you will know when you are going the right speed and the irregular action drives fish crazy! Good luck Bassindow
