It all started out i had been fishing for 4 straight days and had no luck.so my buddy had been asking me to go fishing in this spot he had for a month.. so finially i broke down and said yes. well he had a little problem,nothing to fish in so i told him to come over and we would go get my uncles paddle boat. so we straped a 7' long hunter orange paddle boat on top of a Jimmy. we got looks and laughs the whole way to the spot. so finnally we arrive inour destination. we were out there no more then 10 mins and my friend starts catching bass. well i had no luck. then about 20 more mins. he had lunker on and he just started fishing this year so hes pretty new to it all. note he has a 10$ reel and rod combo from Wal mart. well he was fighting it and had the pole straight out so i am yelling to get the pole up. well i finally neted the big beast.24" large mouth bass. he looked like a 5 year old gitty school girl. i was very happy for him, he had not caught anything near that big at all. so we were all hype about the big one. thought no way in hell theres 2 of them big boys. well i had casted my line out and my phone rang of course my girlfriend wondering when i was gonna be home. well my pole started twitching. so i grabed my medium action 7' rod with a abu garcia bait caster and gave it a shark set and it was hard so i started fighting this big basterd and my girl friend was on the phone,i let the phone drope from my shoulder and got him close to the paddle boat. the fish went on the otherside of the paddleboat and underneath. so i got him to come out and tim tried to net him and missed then we got him.22" large mouth
