this isnt a story but i was wondering if someone could help. i was wondering where i would find sturgeon on a fresh water lake and how i would catch them and what kind of bait? thanks brian

I'm not 100% sure about the freshwater lake part. But in River's (like ours "The Fraser River") you would get quite a heavy wait, like a 10 - 12 ounce and put it on the line so it slips around freely. Have about a 3 - 4 foot leader with a good sized hook. Use Schmelt or Eulochons or Roe Eggs (They love pink salmon eggs, or just roe in general) Cast that puppy out and just... wait! They are bottom feeders. I hope that helps a little bit?
