Took my 4 year old son out to a local pond just to see if there were any carp in it. We'd been onsite for 20 minutes or so, when I spotted an obvious carp working the bank to me left. I snuck up on him, and got my hookbait within range.

As he was in a feeding mood, I was able to lead him to my hookbait by tossing in small particles of bait until he was on it.

By this time, I was several feet from my rod, and when he took the hookbait, he bolted completely across the pond, sending the baitrunner screaming.

After about 10 minutes, I had the fish on the bank, took a couple pics, and released her back to the pond.
