I'm a native Floridian and I grew up fishing the St. John's River.I live in Bradenton Fl. now and I have been building saltwater boats for a living. Saltwater fishing has become my second addiction.

Me and my buddy Tyen went to south Tamapa Bay Sunday and limited out on trout by 10:30 a.m. No bounty records but I couldn't complain. Two went twenty inches. We were using saltwater assasins and drifting over scatter weed.We also brought along five dozen shrimp. We decided to head torward the skyway for some bonus catches. We caught nine sheephead, a black seabass, two porgy's,which I thought was uncommon in 13 feet of water, three huge key west grunts, and a couple of toardies-aka puffer fish, which is some of the best eating if you know how to clean them without breaking the liver, which contaminates the fish and a bunch of undersize grouper. The only issue of the day is when his wife went to take my picture with the fish, she meesed up using the camera.Hey,I'm not complaining with a catch like this today
