Just got back from Fishing Lake Conroe and was just floored on how someone could be so rude;I was tied up under a long bridge, fishing around the concrete pillars for crappie,White bass,whatever......Mind you there are about 60 or 70 rows of these plillars at different depths;Im off in my own little"cube"catching a few(Most were under sized:Throwbacks)and along comes this guy and his wife and kid.....Plenty of other places to fish under the bridge, but he ties up right where I was casting to..."How rude!"I shouted, this guy did not say a thing."Wow,you're a rude person!!You must be a lousy fisherman;you have to have someone find them for you!"I yelled. Albeit,I was catching a few,I packed up and left......As I was furious obviously,I was proud of myself for NOT losing it totally; He was not worth it....As I motored away I screamed,"Your lucky your kid is with you.I would of beat that A$$!"

I wish I had a boat...try HAVING to fish from the bank and boaters come exactly where your line is as if they dont see it or act like the dont...and end up spoolin your whole damn reel in their prop! I am limited to where I can fish, boaters have the whole lake and they (not all some are very courteous) have to come right where the bankers are fishing!

Some people are just that stupid, period. It never pays to be violent, I find if I ask politely and the person still does not move away, then he is free game !!!! Wake up and have some common courtesy I say !!!!

Public or not tuffish,I would definetly NOT tie my boat up where someone is obviously casting to;I would of had NO problem if they would of at least ASK and be a man and not be a weasel. There WAS no excuse for this happening.

it is public water. i only get irritated when they run up their with the big motor. as long as they ease in there are plenty of fish. that is why it is better to hunt and fish on private property. if it is public, everyone has an equal right to it , even if it may not be the best ethical decision.

Sounds about like the bass fisherman in Alabama. It seems like people here try to cut you off, just because. I can't tell you how many times that has happened to me. It's all good, at least you were the bigger man.

Come to Florida during tourists season.I feel your pain! I marked a spot, out in the Gulf of Mexico,Feb. 2009 and than had another boat park right next to it before I could back the boat up to it.Anger is wasted energy, unless your protecting family.I have learned to have several good fishing spots!!
