I was planning on bounty fishing this week for perch over the weekend, but to no avail, someone broke into my truck and stole my camera. I know you ask "why was it in the truck?" well, i worked midnites all week this last week, and i had run to walmart b4 work to print out a pic or 2 and i had forgotten to take it into my locker at work, and someone broke into my truck and stole it. Now weather or not it happened at work, or while i was at home sleeping i don't know. There was no damage to the truck, but they did pop the back slider open, and i never knew it till i realized the camera was gone. I thought i had put it in the house, but NOPE. I turned my house upside down. I did file a police report, and i did go to the local pawn shop and alert them that it might show up there (even gave them the serial #). What makes me mad the most is not the fact the camera is gone, but there was pics and video of my son on there that didn't make it to the puter. I didn't turn this into my insurance, cuz if i do, i know my rates will go up and it is just not worth it for a $300 camera. So, i guess i will have to save my pennies again and maybe be able to buy another one b4 the summer tourny starts. God damn THEIFS!..GRRRRRR

That sucks!! Thieves and liars are not tolerated in my world! I got a Kodak for 100 bucks last June when I started Bounty it's 6mp and works and holds up great! Even through the winter... Better get one... Summer tourneys are right around the corner! Keep smilin! MA

Get a Cannon No matter what though. Kodaks are cheaper but break easier. Cause one thing thats worse than getting it stolen, it is it breaking while your taking a picture of a winning fish.....

Walmart has some cheap waterproof digitals that are 6 megapixels that are pretty good. They are under 100 and a lot of the guys here in Texas that fish photo tournies are using them. Sure hurts a lot less when something happens to a camera that costs less than a hundred.

Nothing worse than a thief.. It might just be a camera, but in a way he/she took a piece of you too. You work to make money and you give up time from your life to make that money and you use that money to buy stuff (camera). The way I look at it is that theif took how ever many hours of your life, the time it took you to make the money to pay for that camera. The pictures and video that was on it is a whole different animal, that shit is personal. I agree with Mikey. That jackass will get whats coming.. Hope to see some hoggy hogs comin from you this year : ) Later Derrick

I know the feeling and feel for you.... I had a brand new paint ball gun put about $450 into used it twice and some DIRTY SCUM OF A THIEF tore the hinges right off my storage area in the basement of the apartment, I had insurance as well but just took it as a loss..... dont worry buddy that thief will one day get whats coming they always DO! IN the meantime though Im sure you could find a cheaper model of cam to compete with, just make sure it has the right amount of pixels and get catching those HOGS you catch and win some cash to get yourself back to the camera you want GL AND I HOPE IT WORKS OUT! Mike :)
