Well after fishing from Thursday- Sunday straight and not being able to catch a redfish or a trout I was pretty fustrated. Especially after fishing last week and catching 5 reds over 30 inches! I started the week by driving 45min south to Bradenton Fl to fish the weekend. I caught 10+ snook, flounder, small grouper, and a Jack. On Sunday I fished my redfish hole for 3 hours not getting a bite, then out of no where a fish slammed my bait... got him right next to me when he spits the hook! Talk about being fustrated. When I caught the flounder I decided to keep it for dinner. (that was the best move ever) the fish was awsome, it is now my new favorite fish to eat. I also tried to get a trout since there was only 3/5 fish posted. I went out in my Kayak to local grass flats where I always catch atleast a small speck! Not this weekend. Now on Monday I look at the prediction contest to find out I missed the vest by .3 of an inch, But wait.... I recalculate my total.... Guess I should have paid more attention in math class. I won.... This makes my whole weekend of fishing pay off. Thanks again Bounty.. Hope we can keep the trout for the future and maybe even add snook or flounder!
