 ...all of us can not believe what is going on.

In Florida to find a 30' hole you are either offshore or have found some sink hole. :)

Our guide Josh is getting us on some fish quick with a local technique. Dow decides to mix it up a little bit and take a wild cast towards this awesome sandy point that sits in front of the mountains edge we were fishing next to. Keep in mind we are fishing with 6lb test with a 1/4 oz jjig head with minnow.

All of a sudden our heads turn to see Pete's line sizzling..
This is not a perch or a sheepshead seein the way its just taking line. Time goes by and the fish gets closer to the boat.

What is it we ask ourselves?


Cris makes a swift dip of the net to pull in a 30+" Northern Pike.


Bassin Dow Grins and Smiles knowing he has caught a species that here in Florida we just dont have!
