Spoon (US)

 so this past four days i was up in Point Roberts (BC, Canada) celebrating my dad's freinds birthday, and all i did the whole time was fish for Salmon and Sharks. i had caught around 15 sharks all between 2 and 4 feet, so i got bored and we went out on his sailboat. obviously the parents were all drinking, so my sister drove the boat, and he told her what to do. (yes, he was not THAT drunk. he could talk fine, he was just excessivelly funny). anyway me my dad, and my sister all had poles out. i had a 6oz trolling sinker with a Hoochie, my sister had a Kwikfish, and my dad was Mooching way down deep. as we were heading back, the wind kicked up and we were cruising about 4.5 nauts, so our poles were bent over real good. we decided to real in and just enjoy the ride, when the wind really kicked up! at this time, i was holding two poles (the Hoochie and the Kwikfish) balancing an the back, as the sailboat is tilted over a little bit in the wind when we start rocketing foreward! we hit 6 nauts, and although the sinkers on me and my dads poles had almost zero drag, the Kwikfish was like dragging driftwood! (may i mention the boat is way on its side by now!) i dropped my pole and barely grabbed a cable in time before i went over the back. the lure was vibrating back and forth so fast that it fired up out of the water like five feet! but guess what? I CAUGHT ONE! as i was hauling in this little lure practically feeling like a salmon, i feel this tug and the lure stops shaking. when i finally got it in, i had snagged an 8 inch baby sea trout right in the face! with a buzzed laughing fit Kieth erupts in laughter, and my dad is laughing so hard he falls over and knocks off a wine glass. it was a great day!
