Dear Bounty,
A few thoughts about your website. Firstly, I must congratulate all of you for finally creating a network for fisherman all over the world t share ideas, stories, and of course, pictures. I love this website!It is the "fishbook" of cyberspace, an awesome networking tool for like-minded people to keep in touch despite the long distances that often separate us. I have made several cyberbuddies through Bounty across the continent and hope someday to be able to fish with them in their home waters.
One thing that continues to astonish me is the sheer talent of all the anglers out there and their levels of passion and commitment to the sport. There are some serious guys out there! And for those who gripe on the blogs about the same winners time and time again I say there is a reason they are always on the scoreboard. They are committed, disciplined, focused, know what they are doing and are always on the water with a never say die attitude. We should be proud of them for their accomplishments.
Thirdly, I used to think that I was the only one obssessed with fishing and that there was something inherently wrong with me for thinking that fishing was more important than anything else. I had decided along time ago that I would view the world through a fisherman's optic. I thought I was the only one but know I see there are other tribe members as well. This come as a great relief to my sense of questionable sanity - thank-you!
