 this Friday I went fishing with a buddy on Cowan lake in southern Ohio... we live pretty close. Real early he pulled in a nice little chunker on a ZPI jig and throughout the day we were only getting short hits. I lost maybe 10 fish 2 were right by the boat and my buddy wasn't doing any better. Finally we agreed on the opposite bank and almost immediately i lost a short hit bass them by buddy caught another nice bass. I pitched my jig right on a weed bed and not long after it hit the bottom it got slammed. I set my hood and thought ooooh this is the 6 pounder ahh! but then i saw the flash... 25 inches and shaped like a banana! crap a musky. I got it over the side of the boat and right away it broke my line this little 25+ inch musky had my jig all the way in its mouth... I'm used to them slapping jigs not eating them lol... it wasn't a bass but i won the big fish of the day between us. All and all not bad fishing.
