 Last week I had the privilege of fishing with one of fresh water fishing's true greats. Ralph Dallas,pioneer of trolling rivers for stripers.He holds the state records in Tennessee,Georgia and South Carolina,fish topping out over 65 lbs.He had never trolled for trophy smallies.I found him to be humble and full of great stories while never once trying to tell me how to fish.We had a good day despite another troller fishing with out success,and seeing ours,moved in on top of us and got two of my planer boards.A sure sign of someone who does not know how to fish.He told me that sort of thing happens on the river.There is such a thing as trolling etiquette.It was a day I'll never forget......Dave
