 One time as my friend and I were fishing at a local lake, we nearly landed a 3 foot pike. Here's the twist, As soon as my friend's Lure hit the water he felt a hard tug. He thought he had hooked some seaweed, but as he started reeling it in he felt something resisting him. Eventually he needed my help to land this magnificent animal. As it turns out, we realized that he hooked the pike by the rear end of it's back. Right when we were about to pull it ashore the line snapped. My friend thought he lost his awesome lure. With a final flip of it's tail the pike launched the lure out of the water and into my hand. Now that was a story to remember.
