Me and a couple of my boys were out at a lil hole with some slab largemouths in it fishin with shiners and bluegill...i kno bluegills are illegal to use but damn they get the job done. my buddy mike is usin an ultralight, hes all bout the fight. his bobber goes under and he sets the hook to realize hes got no damn line on his reel. haha im dyin laughin as this guy is runnin in the water cuz its a damn biggun on the other end and sure enough his line snaps, i laugh even harder. so my other buddy thats with me throws his bait at the fish and WHAM! explosion at top of the water on that poor helpless shiner, sets the hook and gets him in.
So we are here catchin trophy bass to put em in my big ass pond, we are fishing in a residebtial area with a golf course in it so they're are people everywhere watchin ya. we go to throw this bass in the cooler full of water ad a couple "mr. bubbles" in it to keep em fresh and we hear this voice. IT was a resident up on his second story balcony saying in a "7-11" tone of voice "you cant keep those fish they are for residents only!!!" so we ablidge to this dudes request and i pretend to throw him back, but i had hooked him again and fliped my bail with out home boy seein me he turned his back, in he went into the cooler and we were off like the dukes of hazzard. if ya wanna see the fish caught bout 2 years ago residing in my pond still, look on my pics. lol golf courses are the best for trophy bass.
