 I know that no one likes to see the "patrol" boat coming but sometimes, its not that bad. Example: On a recent trip to the lake my girlfriend and I were getting plagued by ski boats and jet skis while fishing on the pontoon. Though there was a mile of lake behind us to pass, it seemed that we were volunteered to become the audience to their activities as always. With every pass came another wall of water that thrashed the 24ft pontoon around like a dingy, ruining my position on the road bed we were fishing. Us fishermen and fisherwomen know, that boat positioning is critical! Just as we were about to pull out the Dramamine, here they come. The two Game Wardens and even a warden dog wearing a badge around his neck. They were very friendly and pulled along side our boat. The 24ft pontoon shadowed the smaller center console. Just as they were finishing up with us two of the pestering jet skis came from the blind side of the pontoon skimming the water at around 60mph or so and no more than 30 feet away. One of the wardens stated "That looks inviting" and off they blasted off in search of the two red water bullets. A short time later when the red bullets passed us, 30 feet turned into about 3/4 of a mile. That's when I like to see my license and boat registration money at work. Now when I see the patrol boat coming, it's not necessarily a bad thing........
