I think i just need to vent. The past few days one of my 3 pups that my female had last november got sick today and past away tonite (Dec 3,2007). I had the 2 males left as i was having a hard time selling the males. Well this morning i told the wife that Gunner seemed to have taken a turn for the worse. We had been having problems the past 2 days with him dropping weight big time. Like lost about 20 pounds in 2 days. Well this morning he wasn't himself. Didn't want to eat and just didn't wanna move around. So we gave him a warm bath, and tried everything to get him to eat and he wouldn't. So i called the vet and he said to keep an eye on him. Well we went to the store for 20 min, came back and there was a pile of black poop on the floor so i called and the vet and he said to bring him in, so my wife called me to come get him and by the time i got home the wife was crying and said she thinks he is gone. I checked and sure enuff. It was hard losing him as i put alot of time into training him and lots of bonding time because i wanted to keep him. I sure am gonna miss him. I muscled up all the energy i could and called my buddy and asked for a hand. I wrapped up my best bud in his favorite flannel blanket and brought him to the cabin for his final resting place. That was the hardest thing i think i ever had to do. But i know it had to be done, and i know that he will be in a better place now chasing them birds and all them balls. R.I.P
