Spoon (US)

 ok this was a little over a year ago. Opening day me and my friends Tom and Kyle went fishing in Toms boat all morning, and then we fished off his neighbors dock for a while. after about 20 minutes my bobber, (yes we were bobber fishing. embarassing i know, but we were so bored) went under and i hooked an 18 inch rainbow. came about 2 feet out of the water and snapped my six-pound test like that. a week later Kyle took me fishing in his boat , and we planned to fish for a few hours before i had to head off to church. we didn't catch squat until around 7:30, when he hooked a little one. finally i told him to go to the end of the lake, where it is much shallower. he said we wouldn't catch anything, and pointed out thet my lucky Super-Duper spoon was broken. as if in response, my tip hit the water and there was a huge splash. 15 minutes later, i pulled in an 18 inch trout with a hook in his mouth, still holding the yellow power eggs i had used a week before. as you can imagine, i kept him and seriously enjoyed him on the grill!
