Heddon released the Lucky 13 bait.

Looks quite interesting. Wait, NO IT DOESNT.
It looks like a regular top water lure. In the same ordinary colors as 50 years ago. I know the guys at heddon are a fishing success story and have been selling baits since... well forever.
But when you price a bait at 50$ a piece. You have to wonder, is there some sort of Pixie dust on these that make fish strike more than the lure that costs 5 bucks?

Well I am going to post a picture of the Lucky 13 bait so that if you want, you could buy a few.

I'm 53 years old, so I remember this lure. However, I never really liked it. I prefered the Rebel Minnow or Heddon Red Fin for a shallow running lure. For a chugger the HulaPopper was better. But Heddon made some great lures like the Sonic and the Midget Digit. I was never a fan of the Lazy Ike either. Boy I feel old. I refuse to go to fishing shows in the winter because the antique section has all the old lures that I used 30-40 years ago.
