I thought this would be an interesting conversation topic...How many times do you hook a really strange object that shouldn't be in the water in the first place?

I don't know about you, but I always snag ( or see people snag) on weird objects.
To name a few:
- A shopping cart
- A bike tire
- Bag of chips
- Can of beer

I know we find it strange, but imagine on how the fish think when they see garbage like this in the water....

Moral of the story:
If you are about to throw something in the water, Stop and think about how the fish would see this foreign object.

Feel free to post in the comments below on stuff you hooked on in the past.

last trip one little cove i found a whole bag of garbage. one cast at a time. sigh. jiggin on the bottom produces this a lot. there is a bike one spot that we all leave there cuz it brings the bait up the shoreline and the fish can be caught just past it. the trick is getting them past the bike to your hand!

whenever i see a shopping cart i toss it into the water. it provides a home for the fish inside the shopping cart under water. its a sanctuary for them when they live inside it and keeps your lures out. fish dont think when they see a tire or shopping cart underwater. If fish would think, they wouldnt bite rapalas or spinnerbaits cause they would be smart right?
