FishManNewMexico (US)

 I was biking along the Rio Grande Bosque with my friend, Gerard. We had our UL spinning outfits and one pack of crawlers. We tried all our usual spots along Shining River and Alameda Drain with no luck. So, we decided to lock up our bikes and hike along the bosque to catch tadpoles in stagnant pools, the first pool wasn't stagnant. To our surprise, the pool was full of carp (10-40lbs), bass (1-7lbs) and catfish(2-25lbs). Unfortunatley, we were unable to land any fish on our 4lb test besides a few 14-18 inch bass. The best thing was, there were no signs of people fishing or ever being there! Marked it on the GPS, going back soon.
