My first fishing trip was out at Matagorda..we were in a ski boat and some of us decided to bring poles and go fishing...I threw out my line after a few casting instructions and was surprised when I got a bite..it took some time getting the fish to the boat...only to see a fin pop up...you guessed it..it was a shark...I was terrified and wanted to cut the line..Others in the boat convinced me to haul it in...once they had the shark...I proceeded to throw down the pole and run to the other end of the boat...It was a black tip shark it was around 2-2 1/2 feet long...lol...all we caught were shark that day...it was weird.
