 It was a cool morning on lake michigan while me and my grandpa were fishing for salmon near traverse bay. We got the lines in the water and were waiting for a pole to pop. finally one didi jump up grabbed the pole and gave it a yank to set the hook and just then the pole snapped in half. half the pole went down to our fish the rest was still in my hands. We kept on fighting the fish and circled the boat to get us closer and closer. We finally got the fish in and it was a good size salmon roughly about 18 pounds. but it was a experience all hte lass and it was fun
