Me and my uncle went fishing at Lake Somerville this summer. We were at the point all night and I had caught a couple of channel cat, nothing special just some good eating size. I forgot to bring a bucket so when we went back to the camp site I had to hold the fish out the window. So were driving along on our way back to camp. We were just talking about what we could do to catch more fish the next night and the windows were kind of foggy from the humidity and having the windows open. I looked up and noticed the road dissappeared and before I could say anything thing my uncle slammed on the brakes. We slid about 30 feet before we hit the water. My unlce decided it would be quicker to get back to camp if we took the boat ramp. The headlights were under water and it sounded like the car shut down. I listened for a second and then heard the engine running so I told him to hurry and back the car out. Once he did we laughed all of the way back to camp thinking about the fact that people probably saw this happen and I told him i was going to look for a water line on the hood to see how deep we got. My uncle thought that the funniest part was that I didn't let go of the fish.
