Alright we just finished our first big tournament of the year and can I say it was a huge let down. It was a 30 boat turn out that was half of what was promised and 2 other little bass clubs from the area decided too jump in on top of us so the lake was packed with everybody and there brother. But this was on my home water so I thought "no big deal" but I was in for a rude awakening . 4 hours in and we had not caught a single fish, there were'nt any signs of life at all on the water and all our spots were empty. But I keep morale high because I knew at any time we could happen upon a limit of hogs...........right..... Yeah that never happened we weight in 1 fish about a 4 pounder and thats all folks. As I watched others with 5 fish bags stroll to the weigh in I couldnt help but feel a little outta my league. We got killed on our home turf by people that hardly fish here, but thats the way it goes sometimes you cant always win.
