I live in south Texas where the heat can make it a pain in the rear to fish during the summer-Sunrise/Sundown are my favorite times to fish because of temp drop and low light conditions-My go to bait are plastic worms-grn pumpkin-finesse with bullet head/worm hook-I might use a crank or spinnerbit if plastic isnt producing--what are your confidence/GO TO bait?

I used to use worms all the time but lost interest, now my favorite crank is a bandit 100 series, it runs at a near perfect depth for all conditions and with a squared lip it has a tight wobble. But one of my all time favorites is a bitsy flip jig... i like all colors depending on conditions the color i find to work the best is the spring craw color with a 3 inch salty craw although now bitsy makes a craw just like the salty craw.

Golden Shiners, and Large Tadpoles are my favorite live baits. Rattlin' Rapalas and Rat-L-Traps are my favorite hard baits. In spring, it is hard to beat a lizard across a bed.

Big shiner under a large float. Throw it out set back and wait for the action to start.

original Rapalas in the morn and eve. Plastic worms are a staple. Spinners in the spring and fall.

i go with good old yellow jigs. suprisingly they work really well in canada right off the coast in shallow water. i landed an 11 pound Lemon Sole right off a dock!
