 I was fishing was fishing with my dad and some family friends at their cabin on lake Vermilion minisota. It was our 3rd day up there and 3 of us were fishing on the bass boat for small mouth. We were hot on the smallies fishing shore lines and docks. As we were going we came up on a dock and I had a waky worm rigged up when every one els had jigs so I beutifully skipped by worm under the dock to the very back and let it fall. I quivered it a few times and reeled let if fall again and on the fall a 4 lb smally sucked it in! I set the hook and the fight was on. I didn't know how big it was at the time but when I got it out of the dock (on 4lb line) it jumped and broke the line at the knot! =( I was speachless but my fishing partners helped themselfs to a bodomless pit of insults and redicule for the rest of the week... even though I out fished them it didn't feel like it.
