My name is Kevin and I was born in Buffalo, NY 28 years ago and immediatly diagnosed with a deadly genetic lung disease, cystic fibrosis. Growing up was very difficult not knowing how long I would live and still trying to live a normal life. I spend 2 hours a day doing breathing treatments and have a wonderful 2500-3000 + calorie diet just to maintain my 105 lb weight..how ever despite this I have lived a good life. I was a emt/paramedic for nearly 10 years. During work, I would bring my rod and tackle on the ambulance so when I wasnt helping people I was fishing in ponds and Lake Erie. Four years ago I moved to Orlando, the stable weather has helped me stay healthy. I fish nearly everyday, and compete weekly in a tournament somewhere. With my earnings I doanate a large portion to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation to help find a cure and treatments for all us CF patients. So far in 2008 I have raised over $500 for CF Foundation, with more to come.
