harley gheen is the the original of the gheenoe and son pugar is the custom shop. my first gheenoe was a 1979 and i mounted a 5.5 hp honda cement mixer motor on the floor and ran a keel thru the hull with a make shift rudder for steering in it 5 yrs ago just for fun. I used a trolling motor prop to make her go. It ran about 9 mph and was able to turn in 3 country miles but it was a fun thing to drink beer in at the gheenoe rallies. Puger invited me to the shop one day and the rest is history! I gave custom gheenoe the boat and its now on display at the shop. The boat is so versitile for fresh water to inshore saltwater and runs super skinny waters it make the perfect boat for me! Ill post some pics of the inboard gheenoe for all to see

I almost got one of these a few years back. well one of the originals. his son is the one that started the custom plant. is that you? you related? yours is kick a**! they were a little out of my budget and I was looking for something i could load on the roof easily. they are little heavy. My little boating story was in an old one of these. I liked the boat a lot. maybe a little to sturdy, we got a little crazy in ours. LOL. If I ever find a nice used one I'll snap it up.
