I'm a native Floridian and I grew up fishing the St. John's River.I live in Bradenton Fl. now and I have been building saltwater boats for a living. Saltwater fishing has become my second addiction.

Fishing profile
  • About Yourself
I'm a Floridian and grew up fishing the ST. Johns River. Saltwater has become my second addiction. West-Coast and East-Coast.It's great that are state is surrounded by water.
  • Favorite species
Mangrove Snapper for the table-West-Coast,but Wahoo on the East-Coast.My favorite all-around is still panfishing for bluegill and shellcrackers with my family on the St. Johns River.
  • Most Memorable Fish
10.2 pound bass caught in South Georgia on my Uncle's farm while I was just a kid.
  • Dream Fishing Trip
    Cat Cay-Bahamas for Wahoo
  • Best excuse you ever told someone to go fishing
I told my Boss after my auto-accident,that I needed Friday off to go to the Doctor for arm re-hab,but instead I went to the East-coast and caught a 35 pound blackfin tuna.Worked better than the Doctor on my arm.Arm re-hab while fishing is more rewarding. This is definetely a true statement.

Thanks for the update Rodney. I've been meaning to head up north for some Red fish action. I plan on doing some fishing for Sunshine Bass this weekend, maybe next weekend will be Red fish.

Nice 23 Inch Gator Trout Rodney, I'm going to have to switch to live bait to beat that one.
